DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS EHRM: Warriors Delivers 35+ Professionals Under Two Weeks

VA EHRM – Department of Veterans Affairs’ Electronic Health Record Modernization Program

Background

In August 2025, one of our partners, a federal contractor specializing in digital transformation, cloud services, and mission-critical technology solutions, required immediate support on the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. As one of the largest healthcare modernizations across the federal government, the program required experienced professionals to support the implementation, deployment, and go-live of the Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) system at VA medical facilities nationwide.

Program Details

The Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program is transforming the VA’s healthcare technology infrastructure by implementing a single federal EHR that supports standardized, high-quality, and efficient care for Veterans. Its goal is to create a lifelong, seamless medical record that follows service members from active duty through their transition to Veteran status, enabling more connected, informed, and efficient healthcare delivery across the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and its federal partners.

The Pain

Our client needed to rapidly identify and deliver highly qualified professionals to support an evolving, mission-critical federal healthcare initiative. With limited internal recruiting capacity and 26 other subcontractors competing for the same requisitions, they required a recruiting partner capable of delivering qualified candidates quickly without compromising quality or compliance.

Our Mission

  1. Support the successful implementation of the VA's EHRM program through Clinical Deployment Technology, Program Management, Data Analysis, and Infrastructure Engineering expertise.

  2. Respond rapidly to evolving staffing requirements in a highly competitive, first-to-submit recruiting environment.

  3. Deliver candidates who meet all position-specific education, certification, experience and clearance requirements.

Objective & Deadline

30 Days

Our Results

  • Submitted 144 highly qualified candidates for review that met all job and clearance requirements.

  • Coordinated and scheduled more than 63 phone, virtual, and personal interviews.

  • Secured 40 signed offers of employment for positions supporting the VA’s EHRM program.

Conclusion

Warriors’ ability to rapidly identify, recruit, and deliver highly qualified professionals played a key role in our partner’s continued growth on the EHRM program, helping them become one of the largest subcontractors supporting the initiative. This engagement demonstrates Warriors’ commitment to speed, quality, and execution by delivering the talent our partner needed to successfully expand its role on one of the federal government’s largest healthcare modernization programs.
